We’re looking for a data-driven Marketing Analyst to join our team and help drive insights that fuel growth across both retail and e-commerce channels. In this role, you’ll analyze customer behavior, marketing performance, and financial KPIs to deliver clear, actionable insights. You’ll manage and enhance our CRM database, support segmentation strategies, and build campaign reporting across direct mail, email, and digital channels. You'll play a key role in maintaining dashboards, performing ad hoc analyses, writing SQL queries, and translating complex data into clear recommendations for cross-functional teams. This role also involves evaluating new analytics tools, integrating data sources, and collaborating with IT and Marketing partners to innovate how we source, manage, and activate customer data. This role will primarily be based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office.

About the role

Essential Functions:

  • Own CRM database (Aptos) integrity through regular data hygiene, privacy compliance, profile consolidation, customer service requests, and integration of new data sources to enhance customer insights.
  • Analyze customer behavior using customer, product, sales, and marketing data to deliver actionable insights that inform business and marketing strategies.
  • Support segmentation, audience management, and attribution across channels (direct mail, email, digital), including UTM tracking, campaign list operations, and performance reporting.
  • Conduct large-scale and ad hoc analyses in Excel and other BI tools (Tableau) to evaluate campaign effectiveness, channel performance, and customer trends.
  • Assist with audience list creation and list uploads for marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain and update the catalog data repository, ensuring consistency across historic and new vendor datasets.
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to drive innovation in data sourcing, governance, and integration for a more unified view of the customer.
  • Maintain and build dashboards, ensuring data accuracy through regular audits, and develop recurring CRM and campaign reports to track engagement, acquisition, and retention.

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize SQL to aggregate, filter, and join complex datasets, enabling deeper insights into customer and business trends.
  • Translate data insights into customer-centric strategies that strengthen relationships and support sustainable growth.
  • Maintain CRM data quality by ensuring customer information is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
  • Iterate new integrations and quality controls within CRM, SQL Databases, and our new CDP to maximize potential insights and strategies.
  • What we are looking for

Skills & Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented and 1-2 years of analytical/database-related experience.
  • Foundational understanding of SQL to query databases and extract relevant data for analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge and ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization/business intelligence tools (Tableau) preferred, but not necessary.
  • Working knowledge of database management, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently, in a team-oriented culture, and adapt to changing environment.
  • A detail-oriented team player who is flexible, resilient and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
