The Marketing Analyst & Office Administrator will actively lead and manage the execution of marketing projects (e.g. packaging design, consumer events, website updates, etc.) and budget management. Additionally, this role includes responsibilities for some office management and sales operations tasks.

Marketing projects will require strong project management & attention to detail (planning, timeline, copy decks, approval process, creative and copy revisions, final delivery...) ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards. This includes being a steward for design management and creative operations for the brand, inclusive of packaging design, and consumer activations. This role will ensure that timelines and key deliverables are met to deliver against desired business results and needs. This position will work with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to keep projects moving efficiently and effectively. This role will require a go-getter mindset that enjoys improving creative ways of working across the broader organization. Additionally, this role balances administrative tasks, such as managing budgets and monthly financial processes, office contracts, coding invoices, handling business expenses, GS1 setup and other customer-related tasks.

A Day in the Life...

Marketing Tasks Include:

  • Steward brand, design, and consumer projects for the Ocean Spray business.
  • Manage timing, deliverables and cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure design and creative projects are on schedule
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment
  • Experience leading packaging design projects, including:
    • Proofreading: assisting in quality checks prior to routing.
    • Support internal presentation design and alignment
    • Ensure all retailer's digital assets are updated and executed correctly
    • Manage all GS1 inputs required for packaging execution.
  • Support New Product Development and Launches.
  • Coordinate new launch deliverables to broker (broker samples, scan certs, product and warehouse specifications, images).
  • Lead marketing budget management including monthly and annual processes, vendor set up, invoice processing and contract approvals.

Office Duties:

  • Own the relationship with key office vendors.
  • Invoice Management & Processing / Coordinate mailing of cheques and payments.
  • Regular maintenance and reporting on invoice status to aid in the monthly accrual process. Maintain/update the Admin Budget monthly.
  • Order all product samples as required and coordinate all details for timely delivery.
  • Consumer Complaints & Regulatory Compliance Management - Consumer Hotline Complaints Management.

Sales Operations:

  • GS1 Scan Certifications.
  • New Product registration process through Stewardship and maintaining Provincial Bottle Billing.
  • Setting up new vendors, customers & ship to.
  • Proofing SAP inputs for any updates that HCL executes (i.e., price changes).

What We Are Looking For:

Required

  • 3+ years of experience working in marketing program management and packaging design
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Budgeting and Financial processes
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Quick to immediate response to all emails, chats, text from both internal and external partners
  • Basic knowledge of packaging and mandatory components (or willingness to learn)
  • SAP knowledge: ability to code invoices / Read Soft and investigate un-pay invoices

Preferred

  • CPG experience

Education:

Bachelor of Science (Required)
