Marketing Data Specialist – DuPage Credit Union

As a Marketing Data Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, using advanced analytical tools to optimize marketing campaigns and drive meaningful results.Β

Key Responsibilities:

  • Target Audience Development: Develop and maintain data-driven audience targeting lists based on campaign objectives, predictive modeling, and AI, ensuring campaigns hit the right mark. Regularly evaluate targeting effectiveness using KPIs such as engagement rates and conversion metrics.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work independently and with cross-functional teams to define target criteria, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and business objectives. Provide ongoing support and make timely adjustments to targeting parameters.
  • Data-Driven Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing real-time insights and actionable recommendations for campaign optimization.
  • Campaign Analysis & Insights: Analyze marketing data to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for marketing strategy, audience targeting, and budget allocation.
  • System & Tool Optimization: Collaborate with the AVP of Marketing to maintain and optimize marketing technology platforms and analytical tools, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. Troubleshoot and implement solutions to improve marketing operations.
  • Technology & Platform Monitoring: Stay current with emerging marketing technology trends and tools. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance, member engagement, and efficiency through new features and integrations.
  • Data Privacy & Compliance: Monitor compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and confidentiality.
  • Process Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team.


Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, computer science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing operations, analytics, or a data-focused role.Β 
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in data analytics tools such as Excel and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Power Query, DAX) and marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) is a plus.Β 
  • Data Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage multiple projects with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines.Β 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with credit union products and services is beneficial, but not required. We provide training to help you succeed in this role, regardless of prior experience.
