Position Description:

Working closely with the Executive Director, and Director of Public Information & Marketing, the Marketing & Data Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate gift processing and acknowledgement, reporting and informing staff colleagues across the college, board members, and donors on all financial matters of the foundation. This position will also handle various office and communications activities for the Office of Public Information and Marketing. Projects encompass creating publications with industry-standard desktop publishing software, web design and content management, video creation, marketing, advertising, media relations and internal communications.

  1. Update and maintain the Foundation’s donor database such as; daily deposits, reconciliations, generate letters, reporting, data management/analysis and etc.
  2. Assist with the development of marketing strategies and programs to meet College and Foundation goals of increasing enrollment and revenue across all College departments and functional areas and position the College as a market leader in the communities it serves.
  3. Identify a range of cost-effective, targeted, measurable and appropriately engaged donors, prospects, and marketing programs to achieve institutional goals.
  4. Work in collaboration with the Office of Public Information on planning and development of marketing-focused publications, including content, design, distribution and evaluation.
  5. Remain current on communications and fundraising industry standards and best practices.
  6. Assist with coordinating events within the ACC Foundation Office and Office of Public Information.
  7. Presence on the job is an employee’s fundamental obligation. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is required.
  8. Other duties as assigned by the supervisors.
