Title: Data Analyst: Healthcare Insurance Industry

Location: St Paul / Eagan, MN (Hybrid with 4 days onsite per week)

Contract: 12 Months (Possible Extension)

Rate: $58-$62 per hour (Contract or C2C); $50-$55 per hour (W2 after deductions and employer tax contributions)

Job Description:

We are seeking a Data Analyst with strong experience in data modernization and reporting within the healthcare industry. This role involves working with a large volume of legacy reports and transitioning them to modern reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and modernize existing reports, optimizing data visualization and business insights.

• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using modern BI tools.

• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting frameworks.

• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement scalable data analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, Cubes, MDX, Python, RDX, and R.

• Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly on the payer side (e.g., analyzing medical claims, provider reimbursement, etc.).

• Ability to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with modern BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
