We support travel and in-branch members services and sales, including DMV, Notary, and more. We have an ambitious goal to grow our travel business by 50%, and we need your help to build creative and actionable solutions to help us find opportunities, boost productivity, drive sales, and generally operate at a higher level. As the lead on a team of developers, you’ll have the opportunity to drive the strategic direction of our analytics while leading the growth of other analysts. Come be a part of something big as we transform our business for growth and success to support one of our core products.

Who We Are Looking For

If you are a passionate and creative developer with a strong technical background in Tableau, and you get joy from driving business changes with your solutions, then we want to hear from you! We’re looking for someone to lead the modernization of our reporting environment by transitioning all visualization and analytics solutions to Tableau while leveraging cloud data sources (AWS). To be successful in this mission, you should be very comfortable with large and highly complex data environments of a large enterprise, have strong data prep and scripting (initial SQL) skills, and be able to develop beautiful and creative solutions that solve business problems without requiring detailed specs (consultant minded). Your primary mission is to help drive sales, grow revenue, and optimize operations. To do this, you must understand the business well enough to independently design and develop solutions that delight your customers. We want your solutions to drive our team to reach new heights, enable breakthroughs, and drive success.

Key Qualities We Value

  • Craftsmanship: Measure twice; cut once. Maintain an extreme attention to detail and focus on delivering the highest level of quality.
  • Integrity: Lead from the front and by example. Inspire others through your own growth, say what you mean, mean what you say, and exercise courageous candor.
  • Fun-loving: We believe in enjoying our work and celebrating successes together.
  • Communication: Be able to adjust your verbal and written communication based on your audience, whether explaining complex technical terms with a developer, an executive or any level in between.
  • Inspirational: Embrace challenges as opportunities and be inspired to try new things.
  • Creative Problem Solver: Passionate about problem-solving and seeking innovative solutions to overcome challenges, break through walls, and navigate barriers.
  • Consultant minded: Focus on deeply understanding the problem to make recommendations that others may not consider. Don’t be an order taker; be a solution provider.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and deploy Tableau solutions that drive results, answer questions, and solve business problems.
  • Support other analysts as they embark on their journey to learn Tableau
  • Drive technical excellence within the team, ensuring best practices are followed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to overcome and resolve dependencies
  • Foster a culture of courage and experimentation by exploring new ideas, technologies, and approaches to problem-solving
  • Maintain a consultant-mindset in place of an order-taking mindset
  • Oversee the full development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance, ensuring projects are delivered on time and with high quality.
  • Champion a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting communication, trust, and respect among team members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
