Project Accountant/Financial Analyst

Overview

Based just outside of Boston in Somerville's Davis Square, OHO Interactive is a digital marketing agency specializing in user research, website design and development, content strategy and digital marketing. We work with clients across industries including higher education, healthcare, and arts & non-profit. 

OHO is hiring a Project Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This person will be an integral part of the finance and business unit teams working to ensure proper project setup, forecasting, profitability, and invoicing.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the project accounting process including project and budget set up, as well as review of invoices and budgets

• Interface with internal Business Line Managers and Project Managers on project accounting planning and management

• Assist in the monthly close process, including accruals, reconciliations and journal entries

• Review and approve initial project and service setup

• Review subcontractor and vendor invoices

• Support directors with delivery financial analysis as required

• Prepares monthly forecasts

• Supports monthly billing and project collections

• Assists with project financial analysis as required

• Effectively communicate with Project Managers regarding contract documents, change orders, other project modifications, approvals, and any additional services related to billing.

Experience/Qualifications

• A degree in accounting or business preferred

• Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills

• Must be hands-on team player

• Motivated with the ability to self manage and interest to expand knowledge

• Knowledge and experience with Mavenlink or similar project planning or project accounting software a plus but not required

• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets experience
