Job Purpose:
The SAP Business Analyst supports the Finance organization by assisting with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) system analysis, testing, and ongoing support across core financial processes, including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay. This role partners with Finance and IT teams to ensure accurate financial processing, strong internal controls, and continuous system improvement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Reporting, and Controlling teams to gather and document business requirements related to Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay processes.
- Assist in the analysis, design support, configuration, and testing of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support system enhancements.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system updates.
- Support day-to-day troubleshooting of Finance and operational SAP issues, coordinating with IT to drive timely resolution.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, process flows, functional/technical specifications, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple IT disciplines to ensure alignment between business needs and SAP functionality.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and system usability across Finance and Operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to optimize SAP performance and strengthen the end-user experience.
- Collaborate with other Finance team members or external department leaders on more complex projects.Β
- Assist with reconciliation of SAP financial data to reporting systems
- Serve as a backup for other Analystsβ responsibilities as directed by Finance management.Β

Qualifications:
- 2 -4 yrs of proven work experience in product management, corporate finance solutions, managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, and support of internally facing products preferred.
- 2-4 yrs experience in General Accounting, AP, AR, Financial Reporting, and Project Oriented Background
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile financial data
- Functional expertise in SAP FICO and S4 HANA, as well as, understanding of Order to Cash and Record to Report Processes
- Experience in understanding business requirements and supporting their alignment to standard SAP processes, using basic analysis to contribute to recommendations.
- Experience in documenting business and functional requirements, including drafting functional specifications and user stories with clear acceptance criteria for technical teams.Β
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences as well as communicating as effectively to individual contributors as you do with executives
Travel Requirement:
- 0% travel to branches and other operating companies requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
