Savvee Inc. is seeking a strategic-thinking Senior Business Analyst with a passion for driving excellence in a complex, mission-critical environment. Β This role will lead and manage high-impact projects that will shape the future of human resource processes and enterprise business operations. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to provide expert guidance in change management, business process reengineering, and performance measurement, while ensuring alignment with government regulations and strategic goals.

Essential Functions

  • Providing guidance and direction for multiple projects by implementing change management principles, business process development, business re- engineering, and performance measurement
  • Managing projects of high complexity and directing the completion of projects within estimated timeframes and resource constraints
  • Assessing products and procedures for compliance within government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and multi-tiered system application standards
  • Grasping interrelationships between financial management requirements and automated business solutions, considering the current system environment and the potential integration of added systems concurrently or later
  • Coordinating with all parties to tasks and review work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements
  • Reading and interpreting government policy, regulations, and directives and applying those interpretations directed by the Project Manager or designee fully and legally to all PWS activities
  • Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, with executive level personnel
  • Creating and updating Coast Guard business process maps used by Coast Guard support services personnel, at all levels, on a daily basis. These maps define the roles and responsibilities and the flow of the business processes within the Coast Guard. These maps are used by support services personnel to ensure accurate and efficient adjudication of personnel actions. They are also used as analysis for integration of personnel processes with human resource information systems
  • Managing Segment Architecture (SA) governance of change and enhancement requests for the Direct Access Local Change Control Board (LCCB), and upkeep of DCMS-DPR- 2 strategic plans
  • Supporting operational-view business process mapping; analysis and documentation for HCM business processes and "as-is" and β€œto-be” designs, as well as metrics, analytics and key findings based on the analysis efforts for the Military Human Resource Business Process Map (MHR-BPS) Initiative
  • Understanding of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework
  • Managing work queues and categories, and tracks work efforts for these requests
  • Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the clientΒ 
  • Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer serviceΒ
