Senior Data Analyst

Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $130K – $185K + bonus + equity

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to become the first analytics hire at a fast-growing, data-driven technology company operating in the AI infrastructure space.

In this role, you will own the data foundation end-to-end, working closely with leadership to define key metrics, build dashboards, and generate insights that directly influence business decisions.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility position with a clear path to growth into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, build, and maintain core business metrics and KPIs
• Develop dashboards and reporting using BI tools (Hex, Metabase, PostHog)
• Analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
• Partner with technical teams to ensure data accuracy and reliability
• Identify and resolve data quality and debugging issues
• Support decision-making across product, operations, and leadership
• Help establish and scale the company's data analytics function from scratch

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in data analytics (startup experience preferred)
• Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis
• Experience with data quality, debugging, and validation processes
• Hands-on experience with BI and dashboarding tools
• Ability to work with technical teams and understand complex systems
• Strong communication skills — able to explain data insights clearly

• Experience in cloud computing, AI infrastructure, or technical platforms
