Job Description

The right candidate will possess an in depth knowledge of FP&A along with financial, information systems and analytical skills and will be responsible for managing all Revenue and Expense related activities pertaining to budgeting, monthly forecasting, monthly close, reporting, contract approvals and business case analyses in the Investment Services Division of Fiserv. Responsible for supporting the financial close process through the reconciliation of client product account data and related fees.

  • Responsible for monthly forecasting activities, analysis, review and reporting.
  • Responsible for developing, analyzing, maintaining and reporting the annual plan.
  • Develop detailed explanations in advance of the monthly close meeting.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on historical, budgeted, and forecast information.
  • Design and distribute monthly reporting and analysis packages to senior management, summarizing client and product results.
  • Responsible for the review, analysis and oversight of client contracts to ensure pricing is within the company’s financial guidelines and identify Revenue Recognition implications.

  • Ability to maintain and implement enhancements to databases to further streamline processes and create operational efficiencies.
  • Responsible for reviewing and analyzing business Risks and Opportunities to drive Top Line growth.
  • Assist in process design to ensure effective operating controls are in place optimizing efficiencies.
  • Oversight of finance policies within the division and in corporate requirements.

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years relevant accounting and finance experience required.
  • Exceptional FP&A skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, quantitative and technical skills required.Β 
  • General understanding and knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliances.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in balance sheets, financial reporting, and accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revenue Recognition rules.
  • Goal oriented and proven ability to complete tasks with minimal direction.
  • Proven ability in enhancing and maintaining financial data with minimal to no direction in very short time period.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills and ability to work in fast-paced & independent environments.

  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience with SQL Server management studio and Reporting Services a plus.
  • Working knowledge of the wealth management or software industry a plus.
  • Strong ability to innovate and be creative and collaborative.
  • Ability to maintain financial databases to provide easier access to information.
  • High energy level individual that is goal oriented, drives projects to completion, meets monthly deliverables and successfully completes tasks on time with high quality.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance required.Β 
  • MBAΒ a plus
