SUMMARY: We are seeking an analytically sharp and execution-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this high-visibility role, you will own financial reporting end-to-end, drive the build-out of our Power BI analytics infrastructure, and serve as a critical partner to accounting during the monthly close. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in fast-paced, PE-backed environments and wants meaningful ownership from day one.

FINANCIAL REPORTING

  • Own the preparation and distribution of accurate, timely internal and external financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain reporting packages for PE sponsors, board, lenders, and senior leadership with clear variance analysis and narrative commentary.
  • Establish and enforce reporting calendars and quality controls to ensure on-time delivery every period.
  • Identify reporting inefficiencies and implement process improvements that reduce cycle time without sacrificing accuracy.

POWER BI & DATA ANALYTICS

  • Architect and build scalable Power BI dashboards and data models that surface KPIs, operational metrics, and financial trends for stakeholders across the business.
  • Partner with data and engineering teams to define data pipelines and ensure clean, reliable data flows into reporting tools.
  • Develop self-service analytics capabilities that reduce ad hoc reporting burden and empower business partners with real-time insights.
  • Document data definitions, calculation logic, and report governance standards to ensure consistency and auditability.

MONTHLY CLOSE & ACCOUNTING SUPPORT

  • Partner with accounting to facilitate a smooth, timely monthly close, including accruals, prepaid schedules, flux analysis, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review close deliverables to ensure financial results are accurately captured and reflected in reporting.
  • Track open items, follow up on outstanding information, and serve as a reliable liaison between FP&A and accounting.
  • Support audit requests and assist with technical accounting inquiries as needed.

FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

  • Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles, including model builds, assumption documentation, and scenario analysis.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational reviews.
  • Maintain financial models that are well-structured, auditable, and easy to update as business conditions evolve.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience, with demonstrated ownership of financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience building Power BI reports and data models in a professional setting.
  • Strong Excel modeling skills; comfort working with large, complex datasets.
  • Experience in a PE-backed company, with familiarity with sponsor reporting cadences and expectations.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and the monthly close process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate, on-time work product.
  • Strong communicator who can translate financial data into clear narratives for non-finance audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.


PREFERRED

  • Prior experience in a software or SaaS business, with familiarity with ARR, churn, NRR, and other recurring revenue metrics.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and Power BI.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is a plus.
