The Financial Analyst conducts analyses and provides recommendations related to investment projects. While considering the company’s strategies, market dynamics, and operational constraints, they support decision-making processes related to the profitability of these projects.

Salary Scale 006: $95,900 to $119,900
(Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)
What this role involves:
Represent Finance on various project teams
Understand mandates and communicate with stakeholders to gather relevant information for analysis
Conduct profitability analyses of projects
Draft business plans
Ensure participants understand financial concepts
Perform post-investment project analyses
Monitor project budgets and spending progress
Collaborate with the VP Category on various financial analyses and ad hoc mandates
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA or CFA designation is an asset
5 to 10 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and business intelligence skills
Ability to synthesize information
Clear communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Leadership and autonomy
Solid grasp of financial concepts
Proficiency in software and tools such as MS Office (advanced Excel) and OBI
Financial modeling skills
Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written (collaborating with colleagues across Canada and the USA)
