We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning & analysis (FP&A), operational reporting, and strategic decision-making in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, month-end close support, and executive reporting. This role partners closely with Accounting and Operations to drive performance, improve processes, and deliver actionable financial insights.
This is a high-visibility role for a hands-on analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning (FP&A) processes
Develop and maintain advanced financial models and scenario analysis
Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year)
Support month-end close in partnership with Accounting
Prepare executive-level reporting for Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
Analyze margins, inventory valuation (moving average costing), and operational KPIs
Improve financial reporting systems, dashboards, and ERP processes
Support internal controls and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
Identify process improvements and implement scalable reporting solutions
Required:
Bachelorβs degree in Finance or Accounting
5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity operations
Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with ERP systems such as IFS, Epicor (Prophet 21/Eagle), BI tools, or similar
GAAP knowledge
Experience supporting operations and inventory analysis
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills
Detail-oriented with excellent business acumen
Ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
Process improvement mindset
Comfortable working cross-functionally with operations and leadership
