Our Houston terminal is a key hub in our national network, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.
Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving financial visibility and performance, with a strong focus on revenue forecasting, billing accuracy, and data integrity. This role collaborates across operations, finance, and technology teams to support strategic initiatives and ensure financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Compile and analyze weekly/monthly billing data to support reporting and business development.
- Lead the revenue forecast process and ensure timely, accurate departmental inputs.
- Monitor revenue completeness and identify inconsistencies or gaps.
- Partner with billing teams to validate customer billing accuracy and documentation.
- Stabilize and document revenue-related workflows for business continuity.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Develop and maintain KPIs to track financial performance.
- Present financial reports and insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support financial best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably in a senior role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics SL or similar preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in terminal, port operations, or the logistics industry is a strong plus.
