Job Summary
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing, enhancing, and supporting our clients' business processes and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather client-specific requirements and translate them into effective solutions. Leveraging your expertise in process analysis, problem-solving, and technical skills, you will contribute to successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing Production Support for existing clients, including analyzing bugs/defects, performing root cause analysis, working on new enhancements, and supporting training and documentation of new features for new releases.
- Using Process Analysis techniques, including conducting As-Is process analysis, To-Be Process Analysis, creating Business Process models, defining Business Rules, and facilitating Process Walkthroughs.
- Performing Problem Solving, which involves conducting Data Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and Testing.
- Gathering client-specific business requirements and translating them effectively to the developers.
- Recommending requirement changes or improvements based on analysis.
- Participating in working sessions to assess the production readiness of applications and/or requirements.
- Writing detailed business functional requirements documents.
- Creating Test Cases and Test Data for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performing both back-end and front-end validations as part of the testing process.
- Performing other assigned duties as required.
- Ensuring compliance with all policies and standards.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent or relevant work experience.
- Apply knowledge of the software engineering life cycle for development and implement effective information systems.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business and business skills to analyze requirements and propose practical solutions.
- Employ a systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, utilizing structured methodologies and frameworks.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in analysis, documentation, and testing.
- Prioritize experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, showcasing successful project delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
- Apply industry-specific expertise in Healthcare, Workers' Compensation, or Insurance, leveraging knowledge of processes and regulations.
