With several locations nationally, we are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to help support the financial health and growth of our group.


Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the financial health and growth of the restaurant group. This position partners closely with operations, accounting, and leadership to deliver accurate financial reporting, analyze performance trends, and provide strategic insights that guide decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about using data to improve profitability and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets for multiple restaurant locations.
  • Create and analyze P&L statements and key metrics, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate menu pricing, labor costs, COGS, and promotional initiatives.
  • Provide scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions (e.g., new restaurant openings, remodels, or closures).

Operational Support

  • Provide data to Operations and Culinary teams to understand and optimize cost drivers, labor models, and restaurant-level margins.
  • Support the development of standardized reporting tools and KPIs to measure operational efficiency.

Reporting & Systems

  • Prepare management reports summarizing performance against plan, highlighting key insights and recommendations
  • Leverage business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to automate and streamline reporting

Strategic Initiatives

  • Support annual business reviews and presentations to executive leadership and investors.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to strengthen internal controls and financial accuracy.

Other

  • Must have restaurant/hospitality experience.
  • Will need to visit the venues as needed.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of progressive financial analysis experience, ideally within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant P&L components, prime costs, and unit-level economics.
  • Hospitality experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced Excel modeling and data visualization skills.
  • Proficiency with restaurant management systems and financial software
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to translate financial results into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to partner effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
