Responsible for providing advanced analytics and optimization solutions to multiple functions within the supply chain. This role will be part of a functional team providing applications and tools, analysis, research, and insights through detailed and complex analyses using mathematical based optimization and computer algorithms to assist in managerial decisions that lead to improved customer service and cost savings while maintaining clinically acceptable products. The position supports multiple facilities within the Health System from product analysis, services, and equipment to supporting the Value Analysis teams (VAT). Other duties include: collaborating to ensure the integrity of the
item master file and contract files, analyze internal and external reports regarding Materials Management operations, work with the Clinical Resource Coordinators (CRM) to identify solutions and recommendations for process improvement and cost efficiency, responsible for various application dashboard maintenance, monitoring purchasing utilization reports and contract compliance, prepares cost/benefit analysis reports for product or vendor changes, and comparative market analysis reports for management and department review and analysis.
