Job Summary:

Responsible for providing advanced analytics and optimization solutions to multiple functions within the supply chain. This role will be part of a functional team providing applications and tools, analysis, research, and insights through detailed and complex analyses using mathematical based optimization and computer algorithms to assist in managerial decisions that lead to improved customer service and cost savings while maintaining clinically acceptable products. The position supports multiple facilities within the Health System from product analysis, services, and equipment to supporting the Value Analysis teams (VAT). Other duties include: collaborating to ensure the integrity of the

item master file and contract files, analyze internal and external reports regarding Materials Management operations, work with the Clinical Resource Coordinators (CRM) to identify solutions and recommendations for process improvement and cost efficiency, responsible for various application dashboard maintenance, monitoring purchasing utilization reports and contract compliance, prepares cost/benefit analysis reports for product or vendor changes, and comparative market analysis reports for management and department review and analysis.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs a detailed analysis of cost and utilization of the end users in order to be able to determine cost and savings opportunities.
  • Analyze in detail the cost of items.
  • Identifies proper communication chain to select and purchase capital items.

Documentation:

  • Documents and submits required information and data in a timely fashion.
  • Clearly and accurately documents designated processes, policies, products, service offerings, etc.
  • Ensures that documentation is tailored to expected readers users.
  • Uses correct terminology.
  • Conforms to required style and format.

Assessment And Diagnosis:

  • Collects data in a systematic and ongoing process
  • Issues are identified and diagnoses are developed based on assessment data.
  • Prioritizes data collection based on the patient's condition and needs.
  • Identifies expected outcomes and plan based on diagnoses or issues.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's DegreeΒ in Business Administration or related field - Required
  • Associate's Degree and 4 years additional relevant experience is acceptable - Required

Experience:

  • 1 years analyst experience, proficient Excel skills and information system experience - Required
