Temporary Data Specialist Γ’ΒΒ Training Program Support (30 hours a week)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Specialist to support a workforce training program. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys structured, focused work and wants to gain exposure to how data supports programs that impact individuals and communities.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring program data is accurate, up to date, and ready for reportingΓ’ΒΒwhile also gaining insight into how different programs and services connect behind the scenes.
Position Summary
The Data Specialist supports workforce training programs by ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent data entry and record maintenance. This role is primarily responsible for high-volume, repetitive data entry and maintaining data integrity within program systems.
In addition to core responsibilities, this individual will have exposure to broader data operations through participation in team meetings and collaboration with internal staff. This provides an opportunity to learn how client tracking systems function and how various programs and services are connected across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Management (Primary Function)

Perform high-volume, repetitive data entry with a high level of accuracy

Enter participant information, program activities, and outcomes into designated systems

Maintain and update records in accordance with program requirements

Review data for completeness and accuracy, correcting discrepancies as needed

Ensure all data is entered in a timely manner to support reporting deadlines
Data Integrity & Compliance

Follow established data entry protocols and documentation standards

Maintain confidentiality of participant and program information

Support compliance with internal and external reporting requirements
Team Collaboration & Learning (Developmental Component)

Participate in meetings with internal data teams and program staff

Gain understanding of client tracking systems and workflows

Learn how workforce programs integrate across services

Support cross-functional data alignment efforts as appropriate

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred

Previous data entry or administrative experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently and efficiently

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or data systems

Strong organizational and time management skills
