The State of Wisconsin DCF is looking for One (1) Business Analyst/Consultant III

Top Skills:

β€’ Expert SQL skill/ability to navigate and query a relational database - Please don’t submit candidate without SQL experience (5 + years)

β€’ Candidate should be able to work on multiple projects per business priority

β€’ Looking for a strong practitioner with experience in business requirements elicitation and documentation (8 years), data mapping and data analysis (7 years), requirements verification, creating use cases, process flow diagrams, reporting and quality assurance as primary job responsibilities.

β€’ Creating and maintaining artifacts such as requirements traceability matrices (8 years)

β€’ Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. Local candidates preferred. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. (90% remote 10% onsite as needed) Onsite work is not likely, but candidate should be prepared to come onsite if required.

Project details:

The business analyst is responsible for ensuring our development teams have complete and accurate business requirements, our business partners have considered their needs vs. their wants in their projects and ensuring quality control by testing web applications, reports etc. that have been developed in the CCCW section with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) with the state of Wisconsin. The business analyst is also expected to provide excellent customer service by driving and facilitating, JAD sessions, demos, feedback loops, and UAT testing processes with the customer. The individual coming into this role must have strong communication skills and be a team player because they will be working so closely with the entire technical project team and will be involved with business area partners.
