Position Summary:
Our client, a leader in healthcare IT, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a strong foundation in both business operations and software systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex organizational information and process challenges. This position requires a balance of technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and document user requirements, analyze business process flows, and define methods and procedures for process optimization.
- Collaborate on the design, configuration, and testing of medical devices and healthcare-related software systems.
- Identify and analyze gaps between current business processes and industry best practices; recommend improvements
accordingly.
- Partner with users, stakeholders, and technical teams to refine and update existing processes.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure solutions align with strategic goals.
- Prepare detailed business requirements, workflows, and process maps.
- Support testing efforts by designing test plans, leading business users through validation, and managing the resolution of quality assurance issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Proven ability to develop business design specifications for system automation across multi-unit or departmental scopes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience in business process analysis and modeling is highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to healthcare systems, medical device workflows, or regulated environments.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
