About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with strong expertise in capital markets, regulatory reporting, and data analysis to join our Olympus Trade Central Platform team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and data, supporting downstream consumers and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of liquidity and regulatory reporting.
The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between front office, middle office, and technology teams, translating complex business and financial requirements into structured technical deliverables that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities Functional Analysis & Business Support
- Serve as the functional lead for downstream data consumption within the Olympus Trade Central platform.
- Translate financial product knowledge into data models, tables, and attributes used for liquidity and regulatory reporting.
- Perform detailed trade lifecycle analysis β from booking and confirmation to settlement and reconciliation.
- Support critical regulatory reporting streams including FR2052A, CCAR, DFAST, and LCR.
Technical & Data Analysis
- Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze large datasets and validate data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers to design fact and dimension tables, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality or reconciliation issues, ensuring timely resolution and impact mitigation.
- Document business and functional requirements (BRDs/FRDs) and maintain version control of all artifacts.
Risk, Compliance & Reporting
- Understand the impact of data flow and gaps on liquidity, risk, and capital reporting.
- Proactively monitor and report EUC (End User Computing) and manual adjustments to minimize operational risk.
- Participate in the testing and validation of new data feeds and enhancements before production release.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with regulatory, liquidity, risk, and finance teams to align reporting deliverables with enterprise standards.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams to ensure business goals are clearly understood and implemented.
- Provide production support when necessary and facilitate root-cause analysis of data issues.
Required Skills & Experience Functional Expertise
- 7β10 years of experience in Capital Markets Operations, Middle Office, or Regulatory Reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial products: Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Derivatives, and Repos.
- Demonstrated experience with trade lifecycle management and settlement processes.
- Prior exposure to liquidity and regulatory ratios (e.g., LCR, Leverage Ratio) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL (query writing, joins, data validation).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts β fact tables, dimension tables, reference data.
- Hands-on experience with Bloomberg, CTM, DTC Alert, Broadridge, or similar trade systems.
- Understanding of data lineage, ETL pipelines, and reporting systems.

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to handle high-stakes issues under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- CFA Level I/II or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as FR2052A, CCAR, DFAST.
- Previous experience at a major investment bank or capital markets institution.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation:Β USD 37,000
Maximum Compensation:Β USD 132,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
