We are seeking a Technology Business Analyst who can support our DHS client in the greater Washington, DC area to help serve in a lead role. The individual will provide day-to-day consulting services and subject matter expertise in analysis, requirements, reporting, and support implementation of architectural standards.

Candidates should haveΒ a mix of technical and business experience in mission-oriented environments. We are especially looking for candidates that have worked in DHS and have an active EOD/DHS clearance.

Candidates will manage holistic architecture strategy, direction, alignment and roadmap for the client. This includes supporting implementation of an Enterprise Architecture Framework by developing an agency-wide road map to meet mission goals through the optimal performance of core business processes and supporting IT resources (e.g., systems, applications, databases, websites, and networks). This framework is essential for evolving existing business processes and IT resources, as well as developing new processes and resources that provide maximum mission value. Candidates will manage and continuously improve technology, solutions and services and integrate business, information, and technology architectures to create service designs that meet business needs. They will also perform technology research, evaluation and selection, including impact and financial analysis.

This role will be responsible for supporting a wide range of project activities spanning business and technology environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Defining enterprise architecture functions, governance, and concepts;
  • Establishing management structure and control;
  • Defining an architecture process and methodology;
  • Developing EA models to build the baseline enterprise architecture;
  • Developing the target enterprise architecture;
  • Developing the transition strategy and sequencing plan;
  • Encouraging and facilitating use of the enterprise architecture;
  • Create a business process using enterprise architecture in IT investment decision making;
  • Create and report performance metrics relative to the implementation of the enterprise architecture;
  • Identifying tools that can be used to establish performance indicators for enterprise architecture performance; and
  • Create and maintain the enterprise architecture.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Work independently or under general supervision.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, or other related discipline AND 4+ years consulting or IT experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience supporting executive leadership and high-visibility project
  • Ability to prioritize impeding tasks and meet short-term deadlines

Additional preferred qualifications
  • Experience working in a Federal environment, preferably DHS
  • Existing and active DHS EOD/clearance

Clearance:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and will be required to pass a government background investigation.
